Social Support Groups

Social Support Groups are social and recreational programs to support people to maintain and enhance their social life and independence within their community. Activities include:

  • Outings,
  • Group meals,
  • Sharing activities and hobbies,
  • Reading, arts, crafts, and
  • Singing and enjoying the company of others.

Transport to and from the groups is available for eligible clients.  

Monthly Outings 

Once a month the groups go on an outing to places of interest in the area and have BBQ or a picnic.  

Bega Social Support Group  

Meets Mondays  10.00 a.m. – 2.00 p.m.

Fees 

There is a fee for our service. Contact the coordinator to discuss pricing.
