Our Service

Bega Valley Meals on Wheels provides this vital service of nutritionally balanced meals to older people, people with a disability and their carers. Clients are able to choose a selection of meals from our diverse menu.

All of our meals are supplied frozen so that our clients can choose the time of day and the meal they want to eat. Clients can also choose how many and how often they want to receive our meals. Often, clients like to have a break from cooking for themselves for a few days a week.

How do I get Meals on Wheels?

We are funded to provide service to people who are frail aged, younger people with a disability and their carers. You, or someone you nominate, can call Bega Valley Meal on Wheels Plus on 64924146 to enquire about meal services.

All clients aged 65 and over are required to register with My Aged Care Ph:1800 200 422. If you require assistance to register we are happy to help.

The Food Services Co-ordinator will take some contact details, ask about any health or dietary issues we may need to know about, and discuss a follow-up assessment visit to your home.

  • You will receive a copy of all assessment documents for your records.
  • You can receive meal deliveries weekly.
  • Our volunteers deliver to the Bega Valley Shire.
  • Most of our meals are frozen, but if you live in Eden you have the choice of a hot meal delivered to your home.

Fees and More Information

There is a fee for our service. Please contact Food Services Coordinator to discuss pricing and further information.
