People across Australia are coming to terms with the National Disability Insurance Scheme.

The NDIS provides for long-term high-quality care and support for people with disabilities in the Bega Valley.

Drawing in our rich history in towns and villages from Bermagui to Eden, Bega Valley Meals on Wheels Plus is stepping forward with strength into the NDIS future.

The change underway is a significant shift in how people with disabilities manage their lives and how organisations like ours meet their needs.

People in the Bega Valley are already benefiting from the scheme through better information, increased options, and higher standards aligned to best practice benchmarking among service providers.

Above all, the NDIS empowers people with disabilities.

There is now choice and control over support service that people with a disability may not have felt before. The NDIS allows people to live life their way, achieve their own goals, and be part of the community.

Our famous meal delivery service is just part of what Bega Valley Meals on Wheels Plus can offer. Our team can also assist with life skills training, and support with personal hobbies and activities.

This locally based training and assistance starts with the needs of each person – budgeting, cooking lessons, simply DIY, household tasks – anything that allows someone greater independence and resilience.

Bega Valley Meals on Wheels are an acreedited NDIS Provider. Our person-centred approach to care and service marries neatly with the aims and requirements of the NDIS.

Let’s talk about our NDIS services and find out how we might be able to support you or a loved one. We can also investigate if subsidies are available for you.

How can we tailor a package to fit your needs and ambitions? Please contact our office.

We assist veterans in our community by providing information, advice and referral in relation to local health and community services.  We provide assistance to the veteran community to access home care, equipment and health aids. We can also assist the veteran community to apply for and benefit from access to the Community Grants Scheme.

There is no fees for our service.
